Don’t Make Resolutions . . .Create habits!
For the month of January, I’ll be sharing a series of excerpts from my book, The Habit-Driven Writer. Let’s work together to develop some good habits as writers during this new year. The book contains a workbook section with 21 thought-provoking tasks to help you work through your habit-creation process. I will be publishing these tasks here until all 21 have been posted.
You may wish to get a notebook to record your thoughts, feelings, struggles, and victories. This notebook can be a tool to encourage you along the habit-creation process. If you wish to share your responses in the comment area, great! Some responses may be too personal to share publicly, which is totally understandable.

Name some habits you have now that might be hindering you from your success efforts. For example, do you procrastinate to the point of turning things (deadlines, etc.) in your life into chaos?
