Explain how you think your friends and family will react to your new habits. Friends and family can support you through the habit-creation process, but sometimes they may unintentionally cause stress and make you want to quit. Be specific about which friends and family will be supportive and which will not. Have a game plan in place to respond to those who don’t understand or aren’t supportive of the new habits you’re working to develop.
